Ship: Sea

Itinerary: Cozumel, Roatan, Belize and Cancun

This left from Houston, very easy to get into and out of compared to Miami. You have to know up front this is an old ship, not one of the large new sleek super ships. The ship is generally clean and functional. Crew is friendly and accomodating. Food is excellent and plentiful. Cabins are a little smaller than some of the boats, but I think that accounts for the lower price. Drinks are pricy 5 Beers are about $16. If you get the special. More if you buy them one or 2 at a time. If you buy drinks at the shows you pay an additional service charge. The shows in the lounges are excellent. The shore trips are good. We went to a river cruise in Belize with lunch and saw some ruins. Drove over the worse roads in that part of the world, in a bus that had seen better days. No A/C in 90 plus degrees. Came back by boat with no top, in the same 90 degrees. Saw 3 gators and a lizard. Was enough just to see the ruins. Roatan was a step back in time. This is where junk cars go to die. (and buses). The snorkeling was great and the staff from the boat was excellent. My wife never tried before and they had her going like a pro in just a short time. Coral and fish were colorful. This was the best part. When we arrived in port we chose to take our own luggage off, we were on the road in 15 min. Great trip if you realize this is an older boat and expect it prior to boarding. The choclate buffet was a big success with some.I liked the ribs at poolside.
