Itinerary: Bermuda
This was my first cruise on NCL. I was a little apprehensive when I would go on
the "cruise reviews" and read all the old reviews about this ship. I must say, I
was pleasantly surprised. This was my 6th time to Bermuda (I guess you can say I
love Bermuda) and this time I took my grandson (8 yrs. old) and nephew (16). Our
room was good enough - we had an inside stateroom. The shower was smaller than I
have been used to on a ship but it made due. The crew was absolutely wonderful!!
They made you feel special and they were very friendly!! NCL charges you an
automatic $10 pp/per day for a tip; other reviewers had said that because of
that, the crew doesn't necessarily treat you too nicely. False!! The food was
okay - I have tasted much better but, it was great for the kids. The alternative
dining was right up our alley as far as the kids go.
I experienced the best embarkation/disembarkation ever out of New York. The thing I liked too about this itinerary was that in Bermuda, you went to all three ports - St. George, Hamilton and the Dockyard. Another thing I liked about the Sea is that it isn't a huge ship, so you will "bump" into your kids alot (if you take kids along). All in all, I really enjoyed my last cruise on the Sea and I highly recommend it to anyone.
