This was my first cruise and was very excited to experience it. Getting checked in was easy, but the trip was not that good. I felt overwhelmed as I got on the ship and had pamplets thrown at me wanting me to sign up for things and buy things. The day we got on the ship we signed up for a beach massage for Sun. on the private island. I was really looking foward to this until I got there and the massage hut was right where the tender docked. As I was getting a massage I could here the tenders coming in and dropping off other passengers, there was construction going on behind us and loud music playing it was very hard to relax I couldn't even hear the ocean. There were people stopping by to make appointments and beach chairs full of people just feet away. It just seems like a weird place for the massage. Upon arrival we also signed up for the murder mystery dinner and had to pay twenty dollars for it. When we arrrived we were placed in groups of six and given scripts and we sat around the table and had to read it and have the play at our table ourselves. We were informed that the play was free that we were paying for the dinner. Really? I just couldn't believe it.

I was really disappointed about the food on the ship. I was really expecting something fabulous and it was just average. If you wanted good food you had to pay twenty dollars for it and even then it wasn't great.

The room was small and the sheets never got changed. Our room was clean, and our stewards were friendly.

I didn't feel like there was much onboard for people our age. There were lots of bars and parties, but after ten o'clock there was nothing to do if you don't drink. I was really expecting to have to pick and choose what we were going to do, but I didn't have too. I did watch the games that were played and I loved the comedian. I was just disappointed that there was nothing more to do.

I would not recommend this ship to anyone. My overall experience was average at best. I am not saying that I will not ever take a cruise but I will definatly use another cruise line if I ever decide to this again. I was so bored and ready to get off of the boat on Mon. morning. This was probably the most boring trip I have ever taken, but on the bright side I got lots of rest because I napped during the day and was in bed early at night.
