John Walker
Age: 21 to 35
PRICE:
Inside Cabin $1000 per person, very good considering you are
never in your room except to change or sleep.
STATEROOM:
VERY SMALL,
I have been on 12 cruises and this by far is the smallest cabin I
have ever seen. The brochure is also deceptive in
telling you there is a sitting area (No couch or chair) They also did not say there is a standing
area because their is no place to stand.
PUBLIC AREAS:
The LOBBY and ATRIUM are gorgeous, all bars are elegant and
comfortable, The theater is a little crowded. The Two main dining rooms are quite interesting since
none of the colors are coordinated. Horizons and Le Bistro are gorgeous indeed.
SERVICE:
Service was spotty, Horrible cruise Director, The Waiters in the Restaurant were rude and rushed did NOT like special orders. Bartenders were good but could not taste an ounce of alcohol the whole week.
Lucy the hostess is an ENGISH JEM. Find her tell her your
problems she will help..a real cutie.
ENTERTAINMENT:
Entertainment was standard cruise faire however Sybil Shephard
did make an apperance for a 1 night Cabaret night.
DINING:
I found breakfast in bed fabulous and on-time, the Patio buffet
was EXCELLENT serving evryones favorite breakfast items, ALL should be pleased.
The Dining room for breakfast was slow and felt like it was almost lunchtime before we got
our food.
Lunch in Ciao Chow was good Pizza in A/C out of the heat. the
dining room was very heavy and slow. the patio buffet was the same each day: Burgers Hot Dogs, felt
like camp. A variety would be nice.
Dinner in the Dining room was good not great. the service again
Horrible. Plan on having wine for dessert because you cant find a wine steward and no second orders
are permitted on entrees
No midnight buffets were served
SHORE EXCURSIONS:
HONEYMOON CRUISE TO ST. JOHN-
Fabulous Catamaran to St. John, great hidden beach to relax or
snorkel plus gourmet buffet and 5 hour OPEN BAR THE THRILLER
Speed boat in Nassau, Very pretty views of the island, stop for
pictures, Goggles they give you fog up and get wet and you cant see where you are going POSITIVES: Beautiful Ship, VERY VERY Clean, Great pool and Jacuzzi in front of ship, very stable, ship did not move once NEGATIVES: NCL Service is below standard, employees were rude and unfriendly especially the front desk. Food was boring and unimaginative. WEAK Alcoholic drinks. Le Bistro reservations are only for Outside verandah suites only, you have been forwarned all other cabins can eat there at 6:00PM or 10:00PM only. Ask a Question About NCL, Norwegian Cruise Lines
