Being that it was our first cruise, we were absolutely pleased with it as we did not know what to expect. The Norwegian staff is very attentive and constantly striving to keeping everything clean. The best part is that you can eat any time between 12-2 or 5.30 to 10.00pm. No reservatiions needed! Although, if you have a specific time in mind, you could make the reservations. Purell stations to dis-infect your hands outside every food place is an absolute plus especially with children. (Speaking of children, the kiddie pool with a waterfall is great).

We loved he food. We tried the Palace and Crossings and loved them both. The buffet was also very good as it provides you with all options. You can always see the menu at the 2 sit down restaurants and then make up your mind. We pesonaly loved he food and did not try the specialty restaurants. I guess being the first time, we wanted to see all that is ofered. Basically, there were lots of choices.

Our Oceanview was spacious. Luggage stoage can accommodate 2 large pull along bags and some possibly 1 or 2 small bags. Bathrooms are tight, but very well designed. I was surprised as to how it is designed to fit it all in a small room. We also had the balcony and it is absolutely fantasic and spacious, worth the extra money!

We did not participate in most of the onboard activities as we had a small child wih us who was always in the kiddie pool 2 feet on deck 12. Overall, it appears that most were rocking on deck 11 where there are the main pools and live music. At night went around the casino and it was crowded. Folks say that drinks are expensive, but they are the same price as they are anywhere.

We did not do the Nassau or Freeport excursion. Instead, we went by cab to the Atlantis. It is impressive, but from what I hear, it costs $400 per night! I personally would not stay for that much. Besides you will be couped up in the hotel. It's a personal choice. I would suggest spending your money on another Norwegian cuise instead. Went Parasailing and although I am not a heights person, absolutely LOVED it. It is smooth and at all times the boat driver is in control and you never feel the fear.

Like I said, this was our first cruise. We were pleasantly surprised that everything is clean and that the food was so nice (we absolutely loved it). One piece of personal advise, do not drink too much or else you will either fall asleep or ruin your night and in either case you will kick yourself as you only get 4 nights and you just lost one!
