Norwegian Spirit
Originally built for Star Cruises as SuperStar Leo, she was renamed and retrofitted and transferred to NCL (Star Cruises, a Malaysian company, owns NCL) to replace the Norwegian Sky in Alaska and the Caribbean. The Norwegian Sky was renamed the Pride of Aloha and sent to cruise in Hawaii after the Pride of America sank at dock while she was under construction in the Lloyd Werft shipyard. Purpose built for the 3/4 day family cruise market in Asia, Superstar Leo was completed converted for the American market and will cruise Alaska in the summer and the Caribbean in the winter.
