This was the first time our family had ever been on a cruise - six of us total. I had preordered the bon voyage packages for two rooms - ordered 3 kids packs - and a casino chip for my husband. When we arrived on the ship and went to our room - there was no bon voyage package, no casino chip and only two kid packs. When I went to the reception desk - they indicated that they never "charged my credit card". They did offer to contact the travel agent - I gently reminded them that I ordered this directly from NCL. I was very disappointed - I would of assumed that they would have put a bon voyage package together at least for that evening - but there was nothing. I ordered a third "kids pack".

On the second day - the reception desk contacted me and stated that they would credit my credit card - I found this very disturbing since the previous day they had indicated that it was not charged but yet here they are crediting my account because it was indeed charged - they just never filled the order.

The rooms were very small. We had two inside cabins next to each other. The kids program was great. Julie, the cruise director was very good.

We did go to Cagneys - a steakhouse. I do feel that paying a $20.00 cover charge per person is a little extreme but it was worth it in the end.

It rained while we were in the Bahamas - we took the city tour and Pirate tour. Due to the rain, we were unable to stop at many places. Not enough time to spend in Nassau. As far as Great Clay Stirrups - it was extremely crowded - the snorkeling was fun. I paid $20.00 for a float only to have someone else swipe it.

On the way back to New York - it was extremely rocky...several of us got sick due to the rocking. All in all, I don't think I would select this cruise line again due to the miscommunication of the reception desk - very poor.
