Originally ordered as the SuperStar Libra by Norwegian Cruise Line's parent company Star Cruises, Norwegian Star is the largest ship ever constructed for NCL. Purpose-built for the company's "Freestyle Cruising" concept, Norwegian Star is based in Hawaii, year-round.
