Norwegian Sun Cruise Review
Eastern Caribbean

First of all, I agree with
everything written about the ship from the comments of passengers on the Mar 06
cruises - Long lines, poor meal choices, not enough entertainment and very
expensive drinks. I was dehydrated most of the time even with my $42 coke card.
With that said, let me tell you that we (and a lot of other passengers) got food
poisoning at the Garden Cafe' on April 4th, so we also had to endure long lines
at the medical center, being quarantined to our room for 24 hrs and missed the
US Virgin Islands all together. The ship's medical staff refused to admit that
it was food poisoning for obvious reasons. We were scared to even eat what
little food choices we had left for the rest of the cruise...
I will say that we did see some really pretty places and had better luck at the
Great Stirrup Cay (except the raw hamburgers) because we were the first ones off
the ship. We did purchase shore excursions at every stop, so we weren't bored
and didn't have to worry about taxi fees, etc. I purchased them in advance
online, so I didn't have to stand in long lines for that. We also enjoyed the
art auction and spent a lot of money at those - just what they wanted.
Needless to say, I will not be a member of the Latitudes club...
