It was the worst travel experience of my life. I hd never been on a cruise before and after hearing family members speak of their cruise experiences, I was eager to try it. The staff was rude, the food was horrible and day 3 of our 3 day cruise was cancelled due to weather.

Totally gross. The Garden buffet was the same old stuff everyday. And it was all cold. The $25/person steakhouse was awful. The prime rib could not have been cooked that day; my boyfriend and I ordered medium-rare and mine was well done (like chewing on a sneaker) and his was raw. The Italian restaurant ($10/person) was horrible; the salad was okay but the pasta and meatballs tasted like it was out of the frozen food dept. at WalMart. Nothing fresh except for the salad.

It was clean and comfortable. The private balcony was nice. I could write my name in the dust on the upper shelves of the dresser....but other than that our steward, Vicente was terrific. He was the only person on the ship to make us feel welcome.

Not much. I wanted some quiet time, and actually got to sit by the pool and soak up some sun. the rest of the time the decks were crowded with large families celebrating reunions. No place to enjoy a quiet drink and music. It's either blaring music or nothing.

Never got to do anything. Weather cancelled our plans to go ashore.

My last real vacation was to Paris in 2001. I thought I'd give this 3-day cruise a chance. I am a caregiver for an elderly lady and it took a lot of planning to get care for her for the four days I'd be gone. I was so excited to get away with my boyfriend. We dont get a chance to see each other alone. The boarding process was long and tedious....this cruise was like being stuck in an overcrowded hotel with horrible food and a totally indifferent staff. The departing process was totally stupid. I had a credit on my shipboard account of $7 and refused to wait in the hundreds long "credit desk" line to get it back. I told them to keep. Then, at the gangway, an NCL rep told me that I had to return to the ship, get my $7 and then get off the ship. We waited about 45 minutes while two clerks took care of the masses who had "credit desk" issues. And they were rude during that whole process. I was never more glad to leave anywhere in my life.
