Itinerary: Alaska
We were celebrating our 30th anniversary on this cruise. We have been on a
number of cruises with other lines but this was our first on NCL.
What do I think of the Trip?
I liked the ports of call other than the last one. Not much to do there.
The Food:
Not Great. I would rate this in the last place of all of our cruiese which total
7
The shows were pretty good but every where you turned it cost you money. The
pushing of alcohol was extensive. I saw passenger getting their alcohol
confiscated from them when they came back from Ports of Call.
On our return my larges piece of luggage was damaged. Ripped wide open on the
corner. I tried to get it fixed but because of the damage done the repair was
quite unsightly. So we purchased a new piece of luggage on sale for
approximately $100.00 regualry $300.00 NCl was notified in advance of the
damage. They offered us $9.00 for the repair and nothing more, even though we
were in touch with Customer Service by phone and Mail about the irreparable
damage. We never yet recieved the check yet for $9.00 and here we are 2 months
later Probably stuck in the mail some where.
Because of this handling of a seasoned customer in the cruise line industry, WE
Will Never Travel on NCL again.
