Itinerary: Western Caribbean
We booked this cruise while on another NCL cruise aboard the Norwegian Dream,
which was our first cruise. After waiting almost 15 months, embarkation day
finally arrived. We took our 17 year old son, and my mother in law who is 79
years old with us this time.
The embarkation process in Miami was effortless. We purchased a transfer from
NCL from Fort Lauderdale, and since we had sailed with NCL previously, we were
able to use the Latitudes entry. Within 10 minutes of arriving at the pier we
were boarding the ship.
Everything was perfect - we had no complaints. The food was great, the service
was excellent, especially from Andrew Harris and Elena Iliescu in the Four
Seasons Dining Room and Elena Stanciu in the Java Cafe. Our stewards, Athena
Ponce and Terry Fernandez were wonderful and left us towel-animal sculptures
every evening. The shows were entertaining also. The only thing we wish we could
change would be having lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe - two salads, a cup of soup,
chicken strips and onion rings, a root beer and two Bahamas Mama's cost
$85.00!!! Way too much for mediocre food. I will be writing a letter to them! We
would sail NCL again and would definitely sail on the Norwegian Sun again
without hesitation!
