It is my pleasure to make this report.
We left Toronto, with great hopes of a good vacation. Airtransat flights both
ways were perfect. The transfers on the buses to and from the airport, were
again perfect.
The ship was beautiful. It was so clean. The room we had was wonderful. We had a
lovely picture window to look out. It was very comfortable. We found the
bathroom a little small, but it was spotless.
The maids, were in and out twice a day. The bed was usually made after we
returned from breakfast, and the room spotless. They always turned the bed down
at night. This girl and young fellow, were polite and a pleasure to have working
for us.
The dining rooms are beautiful. The food excellent, and our waitress's Claudia
and Maria, whom we enjoyed so much, were kind and very efficient. All of the
crew were wonderful. We loved the Four Seasons and that's where we ate most of
our meals. We very much enjoyed the casual dress style.
We found the handling of luggage, and disembarkment went so smooth, it was
perfect.
The whole crew were wonderful, right down to the maintance men we talked to, who
were working on the riggings and lifeboats.
The ride was smooth, the weather perfect, being it sprinkled rain in Skagway for
about 10 minutes.
We enjoyed our trip into Tracy Fjiord, to see the Sawyer Glacier. The captain I
think should be commended for maneuvering the ship around, and making sure
everyone had a good view. He was not in a hurry and told us what we were looking
at.
From just north of Vancouver going up until we returned--everyday we say
wildlife. Our friends who were on the cruise with us, have decided with us, that
we want to cruise the Panama Canal. We wouldn't think of sailing on any other
ship.
Our compliment to the captain and all the crew.
Thank you for a wonderful vacation.
The shops on the ship are well equipped for what you might need or want. The
prices were good.
