This was my first cruise so I had nothing to compare it to. I worried firstly
when I read some of the previous reviews however, I shouldn't have. As a cruise
it was extremely good, we had no hassles whatsoever. The longest wait for a
table at meal times was about 10 minutes and that only happened the once. The
tours were comprehensive however, much cheaper to do it yourself once you got to
Port. We found the service to be very good and the food was also excellent. We
preferred to eat 'a-la-carte' most nights and we found the experience
delightful. We shared tables with fellow guests every evening, mostly because we
like to meet new people and because it enabled us to be seated immediately. The
ship was OK to us, our stateroom although small was adequate for our needs.
Overall the cruise was a good experience, we used all of the services aboard the
ship, including the gym, spas and sauna's and found everything in good working
order. My only negative is that I felt Fanning Island although beautiful, was a
long way to go for a few hours on a beach. My only other recommendation would be
to not get sucked in by the Park West Art Auctions, they are a con.
