I just wanted to write to say me and my husband had never been on a cruise. This cruise was wonderful.. Food was outstanding, entertainment was awesome, shore excursions well organized, and crew and medical doctor were outstanding..

We cruised for 10 days to Hawaii for our 10th anniversary and when we arrived to our clean stateroom there were chocolate covered strawberries, and wine with a welcome card...we had a wonderful send off with all kinds of bbq foods, fruits, veggies...and wonderful entertainment. Our first stop the next day was Hilo... We arrived on time and had a great breakfast at the sports/grill and we rented a jeep for around 50.00 my advice is to check with all rental car agents at the port to get the best deal.. we almost paid twice as much for the same vehicle. You have to see the volcanoes in Hilo they were wonderful and also Rainbow Falls. My advice is to rent a car/jeep you can see both of these on your own at no charge. We boarded the ship at 6:00p.m. and spent 2 days at sea wonderful pics here. We arrived at Fanning Island and all I can say is it is magical. Like Gilligans Island beautiful... I would get the shore excursions with the lounge chair because you will get a free T-Shirt with the fanning island on back and everyone loves these shirts and for 20.00 it is worth it...We sailed 2 more days the it was Nawilwili beautiful...we recommend the Rainforest hikes if possible...we didn't get to do it but it was great. that is what everyone was talking about...Must do helicopter ride in Maui...But book on line heaven/helicopter if possible they go really fast...and Laui' in Maui have to do that the sunset is awesome... Kona we did snorkel and it was wonderful. the whole vacation was great NCL is a great cruise line and we have another trip already booked for Feb. 2006 with them...there is always some people you can never please no matter what... my review is a very wonderful one and we loved the freestyle cruising......
