First of all I would like to say that the bar, housekeeping and service oriented staff were exceptional. They were upbeat and called us by name throughout the cruise. I would give every staff member a thumbs up for service. the rooms were small but clean and the balcony was definitely worth the extra dollars. The ports were beautiful but too short in Ketchican and Victoria.

The food on the other hand was pathetic. The buffets consisted on hamburgers, hot dogs and baked chicken. Try to eat this every day for 7 days! The food was also cold, and I mean cold!! They could at least keep the food above room temp to make the slop more enjoyable. Seafood was only available if you paid anywhere from a $10 to a $35 upcharge per person.

The kids on this cruise were out of control. Running through the bars and relaxation areas, throwing shoes in the Spinnaker Lounge and climbing on the bar in the casino as we were trying to gamble. There should be areas on the ship where guests who want romance can get away from these kids and relax.

By the end of the second day we actually thought about deboarding the ship and flying home as we were so disappointed.

Three days into the cruise I was bitten by something while enjoying the sundeck. I became so sick I needed to seek medical attention which is very costly on the ship. I was put on medications and was unable to be mobile due to my pain, swelling and infection. The cruise line does not accept responsibility if this happens unless you buy their cruise protection insurance. This ruined the rest of the cruise as I could not navigate well.

I can guarentee this will be the last time I cruise with the NCL line.

Absolutely pathetic.

Clean and very nice.

Give me a break - napkin and towel folding were some of the activities.

The Mendenhall Glacier helicopter tour was beautiful. We also fished salmon with Avid Anglers and had a great time.

It was a waste of time and money.
