I hated the ship. at every port we left first. we had the shortest port stay. At every port I wished we were on the other cruise lines that were docked next to us.

Too much hype over nothing. Noone tells you Free Style Dining means you have to wait to eat. You are handed a light up beeper as if you are on the waiting list at Red Lobster. It throws any plans you had away because you are eating later than expected. you don't get to know the serving staff because you are waited on different people each time you dine. they had a mystery night which I signed up for and missed because again the beeper thing.

The state room was ok. I thought i was getting a bigger room because i booked a mini suite. it was the size of a carnival balcony. yes i was disappointed. my room was under the childrens play room. the overhead noise was unbearable. complaints to the purser's desk fell on deft ears finally we were told to deal with it. end of story. i would never book another NCL Cruise.

everything is based on a nickel and dime type of deal. There was a movie night in the atrium. I said why not, I'll bite, who throws movies in the atrium. Well while watching the movie NCL was selling jewelery and trinkets at the same time. this was a ploy to get a big crowd to buy. So forget the movie because you could not hear the movie. I tried to go bowling, Bowling was free but you had to pay $5. for the shoes. Who packed bowling shoes? how many lanes for 10 hr. X $5. per person = nickel & dime Tactics.

Excursions were great. loved alaska . every excursion is offered at a cheaper price on the docks by licenced companies. by not knowing this we pre booked on the ship. shame on us.

Hated it. Don't do it!!!!
