Wow....every review I have read is extremely negative, from the first time cruiser complaining about the "service charge for the staff" to the veteran who has nothing nice to say. My husband and I have cruised the Pearl twice now and LOVED every minute we were on her! The staff has been friendly and attentive. This past cruise we were treated to VIP service and all I can say is, thank you NCL...we will be cruising with you again and again. Those who want "white glove service" and tables set correctly need to sail with a different cruise line. Norwegian is for those of us that want to kick back and not sweat the small stuff. The spa on the Pearl is amazing....the food in the main dining rooms and buffet is ok but the specialty restaurants are delicious (especially Cagney's). There is always something to do and many opportunities to interact with the crew. I would say those who are reading these reviews and trying to decide if this ship is right for you...beware. This site does not provide a balanced view of what the Pearl has to offer. Remember, many people are quick to criticize but slow to praise....
