Itinerary: Hawaii
We just got back from our cruise to Hawaii and after reading some of the reviews
on this ship, we were a little nervous.
We took approximately 200+ people on an incentive trip and there were very few
complaints! The service was excellent, food was very good (several of us ate in
the specialty resturants) and the crew members were extremely attentive and
helpful.
The only complaints that were issued were in the specialty restaurants the time
spent at dinner was long, 2-1/2 - 3 hrs for dinner and the waiters on deck
during the day were basically non-existant.
One thing that I would definately recommend though is DRAMAMINE! The seas were
very rough when sailing (they said due to the Kona winds) and the last night
they were so rough water glasses were falling off of the dinner tables and
breaking!
The ship was clean, our rooms were always kept neat and the bed turned down. We
did take an extension cord with us as others had suggested, glad we did, 1 plug
in in bathroom, 1 in state room.
We went on the Volcano tour, all day beach excursion and went to the Luau and it
was fabulous! Definately recommend the Luau.
All in All, it was an awesome experience and would recommend this cruise.
Several of the crew members asked us what we thought of the cruise, if we were
having any issues that had not been resolved and they also put reviews in our
state room to fill out...they are really trying (and succeeding) to resolve past
issues with service and appearance!
