First, the ability to spend the entire time in the "islands" without having to move into international water for a day and a half is great. The shore excursions are all packages that will include stops that won't excite everyone in a group (note, one could rent a car at most ports of call and explore on your own and have a great time). The crown jewels on the islands are in my opinion will be the volcano's, beaches and golf courses--Outstanding.

The ship "experience"; however, was not OK.. In our rooms, there was not the proper # of life vests, and this was not corrected after being brought to the staff's attention. In our party, there were 3 in one of the staterooms. The standard conversion for the 3rd person blocked access to the bathroom and room exit, when the fold out bed was in use. The staff seemed annoyed with "having" to fix this, and, the fix really made the room unappealing (Deck 5 forward-beware). Deck 5 forward is also very noisy at night. These rooms share a working hallway with the crew and their quarters. Our water system went down for one evening preventing us from being able to clean up for dinner/ shows etc. The biggest issue however was the staff's attitude. With few exceptions, they seemed to be mad / unhappy and reflected that in contact with the passengers. It was very disappointing to say the least.
