The good stuff first. The itinerary from island to island was excellent. The duration of stay in each port was good, and the shore excursions although pricey, were good.

The bad stuff. There was an illness onboard sometime before we arrived. It apparently affected allot of the staff and passengers. We were not notified until we got there after a ten hour flight. Pretty hard to turn back after that. All buffets turned into staff serve which created lines at every normal eating time. The crew was extremely overworked (two and three shifts a day). This caused them to be unhappy and discourteous. Hard to handle after paying so much to cruise. The one thing I really enjoy about cruising is the hospitality and service. Most of the people in our group refused to tip because of the poor service. I'm not sure how NCL can win my trust back after they knowingly put all of their paying passengers through such a cruddy ordeal.

One final thought. We found ourselves saying over and over "at least we were in Hawaii". When asked about my vacation I have been answering Hawaii is beautiful, but the cruise sucked. That pretty much sums it up.
