This was a new ship however, inadequately staffed. The room stewards did a fine
job. The free styling restaurants had up to a one and a half hour wait to even
get seated. They took an additional one and a half hours to serve you your meal.
We rarely made it to the shows as a dinner would take three hours and was not
worth the wait. The main daily entrees we were limited to three options. One
meat, one pasta and one vegetarian. They had there optional standby menu
however, they were not very tasty. Sizzler does a better job. It appears they
are trying to force you to go to the restaurants that have a fee attached. They
were hard to get into and defeated the free styling reason we went with NCL as
you had to have reservations. The main dining room food was the worst I have
ever had on a cruise. This is the second time I have been disappointed with
NCL's food. The other trip was to Alaska. The check in was smooth! The ports
were great. The itinerary showed a conflict of times in Kauai. One schedule
showed being in port two days. The actual schedule left the port at 6:00 AM the
second day.
