We thoroughly enjoyed the Cruise. Once we were actually cruising! We checked in at Marriott Honolulu, where we stayed for 3 nights prior. Our flight was late and we checked in just before 11:00pm. We were not advised that if we wished to have something to eat or drink tht room service closed at 11:00pm! We did not find that out until we arrived in our room and discovered no cold drinks or ANYTHING in mini bar. Have since advised Marriott it would be helpful to advise guests when they check in. The coffee in room is shocking. Check out Seattles best in Lobby.

Also NCL checkin at Marriott did not advise it was OK to send baggage on ahead and make your own way there as late as 5.00pm. Instead we took the shuttle servise at 11.00a.m. and spent the day waiting for statetoom and luggage. We could have spent it on the beach and arrived at the ship at 5.00pm and our stateroom and luggage would be organised. Once we were underway everything was fine and made up for the rest of it.

The staff, cruise, and ship presentation was excellent. I would definitely use NCL again.

The food was great mostly. We ate in all the outlets and took advantage of the wine/food package. Jeffersons Bistro was our very favourite meal followed by Lazy J Steakhouse.
Cadillac least favourite followed by Teppenyaki. Room service Pizza was dry and uninteresting.

There was a good assortment of onboad activities. I would like some "rules" for kids in the pools; they take over and make it noisy and unpleasant for others who wish to have a quiet swim.

We mostly did our own thing. Turtle Beach was a disappontment. Carry beach shoes with you as the lava rocks really hurt.

We had a great time met some great people and would do it again.
