Would definitely NOT recommend the Pride of America. The worst thing was the NCL representatives at the hotel who supposedly are there to help a traveler. VERY RUDE - VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! This ship was small - we paid top dollar for a balcony stateroom and it was very tiny (compared to other cruise lines). The food was average - when you come home from a cruise, you come home and rave about the food. Not so on this ship. Nothing was "grand" - not even the ice cream was anything to rave about! The excursions were very overpriced. You can book cruises (from island companies) for less than half than what you will pay the cruise line! We did have two happy memories - our cabin steward was wonderful and there was an excursion representative who went out of his way to assist up in giving us information as to places to go on our own. The cruise even ended badly because we encountered a rude representative who was to provide transportation to the hotel we had booked (thru NCL). We ended up having to take a cab to the hotel, although we had paid over $40 for the transportation ahead of time. Only take this cruise if you have no other option to see Hawaii...but be prepared to feel let down after your trip!

Average food.

Stateroom extremely small.

Very little activities offered.

Stay away from excursions booked thru NCL - do research and book your own!

Sad memory Lots of money spent - little return.
