I had the most wonderful cruise around the Hawaiian Islands. For the most part, I have no complaints. Our room was nice, the employees were excellent, the itinerary was very good, and the ship was beautiful and clean. With all the positive, I must say I probably will not cruise with NCL again.

My only complaint is the food. I do not like "freestyle dining". There are two main dining rooms: the Liberty and the Skyline. It is suggested that you have reservations, which we did most of the time. I missed eating at a large table and getting to know other passengers. If you don't have a reservation, you are usually given a pager (like in the city) and you have to wait. The menu was almost the same every night - very little variety. I ate Mahi-Mahi three nights. On other cruises I have taken the food was "special" - very high quality and fancy. This was just ordinary. The specialty restaurants charge $10.00 or more per person cover charge. That is so unfair. Everything on a cruise except drinks should be inclusive, and it is on other cruise lines.
I

f this was our first cruise, I might have thought it was fantastic. However, it can't compare with Princess or Celebrity. We have already booked our next cruise in March with Royal Caribbean.
