We just recently sailed on a seven day cruise aboard the Pride of America. Our trip was very pleasurable. I have seen some very negative reviews about this ship however they do not reflect our experience. I can only guess that these problems were initial kinks that have been worked out. Our group of five found the staff to be extremely courteous and attentive. The food was very good and the freestyle dining worked very well for all of us. The entertainment on board was great. The only disappointment that we encountered was that one of the restaurants (Little Italy) was totally booked by the second day. I would recommend that you make reservations for this restuarant on day one or you may be out of luck. The ships decor is beautiful. Our room was spacious and well maintained. No irons are allowed in the rooms. The excursions were numerous and of varying interests. They were well organized. We did the submarine, tubing the ditch, lual. All recommended.
