This was our first cruise and it more than met our expectations. We were totally comfortable - treated like very special guests. It was a pleasure.

Overall the food was fairly good. My husband liked it better than I did. I would recommend walking around first to see all the different offerings. Some days were better than others but there was always plenty of food. My scale says I ate enough.

Our balcony stateroom was not big but perfectly adequate and we were quite content with the size. The views of the islands at all hours of the day and night was priceless and at times awe inspiring. The balcony was worth the extra price. Our porter was terrific.

The onboard activities were fine. More offerings during the day would be appreciated. We enjoyed all the entertainment - lots of talented people.

The excursions were good but a bit expensive. We discovered that Polynesian Adventure Tours which they use was bought by NCL. The tour guides did a good job.

We loved our cruise on the Pride of America. I highly recommend it as a great way to see lots of Hawaii. It was great fun. Do it!
