Nautica was a pleasure from start to finish. Boarding was easy. We simply presented our passports and credit card at check-in in Istanbul and got our room card, less than 10 minutes from dock to our cabin. Our luggage was not delivered to our room, because we chose to spend one additional night with friends in the city, but we were allowed to take it directly to our room the next day. Our room steward met us and was worried we had had some trouble getting to port, so he helped us get settled and get on with our cruise since we were a day "behind" the others on board. He was never intrusive, but always friendly, visiting when we had time and wishing us a good day when we were in a hurry.
