We have been on many, many cruises but never on a Princess cruise, our first Princess cruise. Unfortunately this will also be our last Princess cruise. We were so disappointed. We were on the Caribbean Princess.

The traditional dining food was sometimes actually inedible, it was just terrible food. Every plate had food just slopped on it and looked like yesterdays' mess. There was no finess in service at all. We found the food in the buffet better. They need a new chef and new 'people that plate the food.

The shows were poor. They were more like high school productions than professional entertainment. The only good thing was the Comedy Club comedian fellow they had on, he was awesome. Everything was 'cheap' from the toilet paper, hand towels, kleenex; it was really surprising. We were expecting so much more from Princess. We will stick with Royal Caribben and Carnieval in the future.

The onboard activities in one word: awful.

Our stateroom was pretty good except for the cheap toilet paper and kleenex.

There was no comparison to Royal Caribbean or Carnival. The whole experience was way below par. There was no midnight buffet with ice carvings, no dancing on the deck (all the things we have come to expect). The trip was just really third class and very disappointing.

We took an excusion every day and had no problem with any of them, actually the one in Halifax with Wenday and Allen was superior; that was wonderful.

We made the best of things but I must say we were very disappointed overall on Princess.
