The boarding was not bad at all. Had a bit of a delay due to "doors not closing" but all in all, not bad. The room was great. The service spectular; scenery wonderful; did not participate in ship activities so cannot rate, and only one problem. When we got into the ports of Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan and Victoria, it was totally the "masses." In Skagway, in particular, when we docked there were four other ships (you are talking about 2000 plus/minus people jamming into the town which was very small.) Now true, some of the visitors were taking some tours, but by the time we left the town, we had to walk in the streets as you could not move on the sidewalks which were totally jammed with tourists.. I don't know what the answer is, but there should be some way to stagger the times the ships are at a certain port to keep the masses to a controllable number. Our debarking the ship in Seattle was not bad at all. All in all, I really enjoyed the cruise, but the number of people in each SMALL town was not acceptable.

More than I had expected. The person in charge of the room could have not been any better - he was great. Room was always clean and he went above and beyond expectations.

We drove from California to Seattle. Stayed the night at the Marriots downtown - it was super! Had a great cruise, wonderful weather! We thoroughly enjoyed the cruise.
