Ship: Grand Princess

Itinerary: Western Caribbean
This is our forth cruise, third with Princess. The first time on Grand. Embarkation was fast, the slowest part was security. The Grand is a good ship very smooth, nicely appointed and cabins were of normal size. We enjoyed personal chioce dining and never had to wait for a table, there were some nights that a line formed as we were leaving, so what time you go to dinner makes a difference. You can make reservations. We enjoyed the movies under the stars.
The pizza is great and food in the Horizon Court Buffet was good. My wife and I thought the live shows were well done and entertaining. I wanted to write a little about the stops. Costa Maya we got off the ship and tried to take a taxi, we had to take a shuttle at $3 per person to Mahahual. Here we hire a boat to take us fishing it cost us $100 for two hours for two of us (they wanted $200 but came down), we caught a barracuda, jack and dorral (dolphin), we then had lunch on the beach and a massage on the beach and sat around the rest of the time reading (great day).It cost $2 pp for a cab back.
Next stop Belize, We had booked a cave tour on the internet because the ship's tour was full. We had a great experience with Gilly our guide, the outfitter Yhony was at www.cave-tubing.com the cost was $55 per person but it was just my wife and myself on the tour, the price drops to $45 if you have a group. Third stop was Grand Cayman, we booked a trip to singray city and snorkeling with SOTO cruises cost was $30 per person and enjoyed the trip, great crew and can recommend them highly. Last day was Cozemel we took a cab to Chankanaab, wondered around there and snorkeled, it is a nice park with everything you need located there.
Overall a very good week cruising.
