This
was my second cruise on the Grand Princess. I had no complaints at all about the
service or itinerary! Crew members were very friendly and professional at all
times.
Our stop in Grand Cayman was cancelled due to a generator problem, so instead we
spent all day at Playa del Carman - a delightful place to spend a day in.
Princess also offered all passengers a $75 per person credit for the
inconvenience!!!!! I would say that Princess went above and beyond what they
were required to do.
The only complaint I had was that someone apparently was sick in the hallway on
our deck, and despite attempts to clean the carpet, the smell lingered and it
was horrible to walk to stairways or elevators in that direction. So we just
went the other way. I don't know how the passengers who had cabins in that area
handled it - I would have been demanding another cabin - pronto!
Anyway, I have been on the Grand Princess twice - both times on the Western
Caribbean trip. Loved it both times - even made friends with a tour guide in
Belize that I saw both times!
If anyone is looking for a nice, relaxing cruise to the western Caribbean,
plenty of room at the entertainment venues, friendly and helpful staff, no
hoity-toity attitudes, but then again no wild & crazy party atmosphere, this
cruise is for you!
