I just want to make sure everyone is aware that if any emergency happens before a Princess Cruise Line trip they could care less(from my families opinion – over 10 cruises with Princess). There are two important facts to this review. If you become ill and do not have Princess Vacation Protection (PVP) the cruise line should do the right thing. From reviews I read, any preexisting condition negates PVP. For my case PVP would not have assisted my grandparents as my grandfather had a heart surgery years ago. He last Wednesday had an emergency Pacemaker operation. I worked with my grandmother to cancel her trip the upcoming Saturday. The airlines were great with credits. Yet Princess was just rude in telling me to email customer service since over the phone and they would not be doing anything even if I do email. As long term clients an caring people we were hoping for something; reschedule the cruise, reimburse the cost, discount on a future cruise.

So the moral of the story if your healthy and want to pay for the insurance great but who knows if it will actually pay out and when. If you have any conditions don’t bother with PVP. Regardless, know the Princess customer service will not risk their PVP for long time customers. All you are to thme is a $. Cruise well just not with Princess.

Don't book with Princess!
