The Ruby Princess is a great ship, love the ports of St Thomas, St Maarten, Nassau and Princess Cays. St Turks and Caicos was scheduled however, intestinal illness on the island made it unsafe to port there. Nassau was the replaced port of call. We did book this cruise primarily because we wanted to see the Turks and Caicos, but health concerns are much more important.

The food on the Ruby Princess was very good, you could get the same staples of steak or fish every night or enjoy the different menu items each evening. The chef makes a great presentation on each meal. Our dining steward was absolutely the best. He made feel right at home and couldn't be more attentive.

The stateroom was very comfortable, we did choose an outside balcony. Love to see the sunrises and sunsets each day. The bed was very comfortable. The first evening we noticed there was no top sheet, and asked the cabin steward the following morning to supply one. He did and any time we requested anything our cabin steward was most helpful.

There was a great variety of daily activities, we especially loved the outdoor movie in the afternoon.

At St Maarten we purchased liquor at the store called Friendly Duty Free, this store is on front street. The store was to deliver our purchase directly to the ship. Our purchase was never delivered. After contacting the store twice by telephone and twice by email, we still have not been reimbursed. It is evident they do not intend to reimburse our money.

Overall, the Ruby Princess was a great ship to vacation on. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Love the great weather and ambiance of the entire ship.
