We were a group of 6 seniors in our early 60's. It was our first Mexican cruise and our first time on the Sapphire Princess. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would go again soon if finances allowed. One couple had never cruised before and they were very impressed with everything about the cruise. We did not have a negative experience on the 7 day cruise. Everyone treated us royally and we never lacked for enjoyable things to do. I would highly recommend Eric at Vacations to Go as he booked our cruise for us and was excellent to work with. I would also highly recommend the Sapphire Princess and Princess Cruise Lines for a Mexican Riviera cruise.

We felt our food was exceptional! The presentation, especially the desserts, was simply beautiful. How they can serve such elegant food in such hugh quantities defies logic.

I was concerned because I'm allergic to smoke and you can't book non-smoking rooms with Princess. However, our stateroom was very clean and didn't have any smell. We had a balcony where we could open the door keeping a fresh air supply whenever we desired. We are definitely spoiled.

We really enjoyed the golf pro on board and we went to all of his lectures. We also enjoyed lounging around the spa pool that was more private than others. We went to the production shows and the comedians and to a dance lesson. We found a wonderful trio, Phoenix Rising, on the 6th. night and were disappointed that we didn't discover them sooner as we would have enjoyed them much more than two of the comedians. We did enjoy the comedian named Steve. The production shows were fine, just not outstanding. The dance lesson couple was wonderful and we really enjoyed their lesson; we just didn't have time to continue with more lessons.

We didn't do any on shore excursions because we wanted to explore on our own as it was our first time on this cruise. My husband would do the sport fishing in Cabo next time.

We have nothing but positive comments about our cruise as it was a wonderful time. Embarkation and disembarkation went quickly and smoothly. We carried our own bags off and that went faster. We also chose anytime dining with some trepidation as on our first cruise we had traditional dining. But we really loved the freedom and ability to change dining rooms and dining times. In the future, we will definitely choose "anytime dining." We had wonderful wait staff and our cabin steward was very efficient and likeable. The ship was amazingly clean and well kept. All 6 of us give Princess Cruises an A+.
