Great time. We've cruised many times on Princess and I felt the service and food were all very good to excellent.

Wow, Princess has definitely upgraded their food. I was very pleased with both the sit down and buffet dining. The first night, the service in the any time dining was off, but after the first evening, everything was great. They have changed up their menus and they are offering some great new choices. One night the head chef had a special menu of his choice. Very interesting. The cheese souffle appetizer and the dessert of Stilton cheese with a port sauce were excellent.

The beds in the balcony rooms were a bit uncomfortable, even with the mattress topper. The shower is small. I used the Spa showers after reading a review posted here. They showers were great and had all the products you needed along with a pile of fluffy towels.

Our stateroom steward was hard working. The fact that he had 18 staterooms to clean meant that we didn't always return from breakfast to a clean room. We did not always have fresh ice either. I blame Princess more than the room steward as 18 staterooms are a lot to be in charge of.

We don't participate with on board activities. We use the library and we read, nap and stare at the ocean. There certainly appeared to be a lot going on though.

We just cab into town and walk around. We've done this cruise 4 times before.

As usual, embarkation was excellent. We were on the ship within 15 minutes of walking into the terminal. Princess has started a new disembarkation program that I highly recommend. You can walk off on your own before 8:30 if you fill out the paperwork delivered to your room earlier in the week. We live in the San Francisco area and drove to LA. With the early disembarkation we were home by mid afternoon. Great!

The weather was kind to us. No rain, yay!

The internet was spotty out at sea, but at least it's offered. As a Platinum member of Princess we had 150 minutes comped to us.

We put down our $100 deposit's on board to do it again next year!
