I totally enjoyed this cruise. I was very leary after reading some of the comments about how poorly maintained this ship was. But, we had no problems at all. Sure, the bed was a bit hard, but we asked for an egg crate, which was delivered in about 30 minutes...and we both slept very well...too well almost. Alaska is amazing...I am sold and would love to live there with all it's pristine "summer time" beauty.

A great variety of food....lots of selections for vegetarians...and there was stuff there for the "fry" babies...or people who like everything "fried and laid on its side"! We did have trouble getting refills...but just ask for 4 lemonades initially and you don't have to worry about refills.

The desserts were wonderful...not all of them, but most of them...cookies, tarts, cakes....ice cream...all good to me. We had the All-Time dining...so you did have to reserve a table earlier in the day...but not a big deal...dinner got me off our balcony as I loved watching the wildlife, the mountains, glaciers, and just the water.

Clean cabin...nice, modern head (bathroom)...very comfy...I hated to leave my room at times...with quick room service, the balcony...the mountains...why did I need to leave? There were flat screen TV's that broadcast movies, news, and the bridge cam, which I loved....we were able to see what was directly in front of the ship without leaving the cabin. Lots of storage space, closet space and hangers for all our luggage and clothes.

Rez was the best cabin steward....EVER. He was prompt and so quick...very responsive...he made sure we had fruit, water and ice on a daily basis. He was always sweating from working so diligently.

There was sooo much to do...all of it fun for the most part...Ping Pong tables....pools, hot tubs...Bingo...dance classes, the spa...just chilling....I chose to chill.

Yea, the excursions from Princess were pricey...hey, we're tourists...it's how the locals make money. We enjoyed the whale watching and Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau....and the White Pass train ride in Skagway...pricey...but so glad we did them. Now, we wished we had seen the sled dogs.........maybe next time.

Enjoyable...lovely time...I would go back in a heartbeat....just wish my kids could have been there......but for now, Princess is my #1 cruise line.
