My biggest issue was with communication on the ship. I had an emergency occur back home. A co-worker and close friend's husband was killed in Iraq on the very first day of the cruise. Multiple people tried to contact the ship and could not get through to anyone, got the runaround as to why we couldn't connect or got disconnected. I did not find out for over a week that this happened and I was devastated. How did I find out? I checked my email and found a message from a family member to call home immediately. So I called from the ship, which ended up costing us about $30 per phone call, to receive the horrible news. There is no excuse for family member's in an emergency not to be able to call and get a hold of their loved ones.

Food was the worst of the 4 cruises I have been on. We have been on 4 different cruise lines and this was by far the worst quality and least variety. Their "choose your dining time" option is a farce. There are still only 2 dining times only now you have to wake up early to call and make a reservation to ensure that you get into the seating that you want. If you just show up at dinner you are going to have you wait, sometimes for well over an hour. I was on the list for the assigned seating because my mother has a medical condition that involves a special diet and I knew that having the same waiter every night would have been a better option. That request was not honored, nor was my request for the special diet. No one in the dining room was very educated on what she could eat or what was really in the food. My mom was very limited on what she could eat on the entire trip because of this. To top all of this off about 2 days into the trip, they began to serve the buffet. This was both annoying and made the area in there small buffet very cramped. However it took them several more days to put out a notice to the passengers why they were doing this. They were able to keep it contained but they should have been more upfront with the passengers.

Onboard activities were very redundant. Mostly trivia games which my family likes but that is pretty much all there was. We did enjoy the fruit and vegetable carving demonstration.
