What the heck are you talking about?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an emerging technology that you are going to love. It allows you to "subscribe" to many different Weblog's and Website's news feed by using a RSS Reader. It is really very easy to do and it is tons of fun. You can subscribe and unsubscribe to as many different feeds as you would like that cover every topic in the world.
Look, I will take the guesswork out of it, if you are willing to invest ten minutes of your time. OK? The best thing is that what you are about to do is not going to cost you a penny. However, it will give you access to the Cruise News Blog RSS feed so that you can read the posts made there in your news reader. It will also introduce you to the world of RSS Feeds and I think you are going to love it. Here we go.
Visit www.Bloglines.com. Click on the "Sign up now its Free" link. Enter your e-mail address and password and then reenter your password. Click on "Register". You will have to respond to an e-mail sent to your e-mail address confirming your registration before it is activated.
Once you have e-mailed confirmation and your account is activated, go back to www.Bloglines.com and click on the "My Feeds" tab located right under the Blogline's logo on the top left-hand side of the page.
Click on the "Add" button right below the "My Feeds" tab once the page has fully loaded.
In the box next to the "Blog or Feed url" in the center of the right hand side of the page, copy and paste this url:
http://cruisereviews.typepad.com/cruisereviews/index.rdf
and then click on the subscribe button right below the box. It will give you a chance to preview the feed, but be sure that you complete the subscription process.
You will then see "Cruise News Blog" on the left-hand side of your screen. You are now subscribed to the RSS Feed. If you click on the "Cruise News Blog" link, it will deliver the feed to the right hand side of your screen.
Viola, you are now on your way to discovering the wonderful world of RSS. Congratulations!
