My husband and I recently returned from a Panama Canal cruise on Radisson Diamond.  Everything was wonderful!  Another couple traveled with us and we chose to go a day early and spend the first night in Aruba and two nights at the end of the cruise in San Jose, Costa Rica.

We were transferred from the Aruba Radisson hotel to port side at 2:30 and were told to board the ship.  There were no lines or going from one person to the next.  We boarded, were greeted with glasses of champagne, stopped to have our ID pictures made and then escorted to our suite.

We chose to have a balcony suite to enjoy the scenery.  The room had ample closet space and more than enough drawer space.  Our cabin stewardess quickly appeared to show and tell us things we needed to know.

Each Radisson employee was helpful, friendly and eager to make our cruise special.  There is a no tipping policy on Radisson ("tipping is included in the cruise price") so their efforts were sincere.

We had dinner one night in Don Vito's, which is something I highly recommend!  The food, service and entertainment are wonderful!

Shore excursions were handled very professionally. 

Disembarkment was very smooth.  Since we were staying in San Jose, we had a choice of either the volcano or coffee plantation tour.  We chose the coffee plantation and it was very interesting.  Before being taken to the Camino Real hotel, we were taken to the Chandelier Restaurant.  We highly recommend it!

Everything about the cruise, cruise staff, and accommodations was first class!

While onboard a video was shown regarding the history of the Panama Canal.  I knew my great uncle had worked on the canal but I couldn't remember his name.  When we returned home I found that the man interviewed on the tape had been my uncle!  I contacted Radisson and Breena said she would check to see how I could get a copy of the tape.  She called a few days  later and said the tape had been from the history channel which I then contacted and was able to purchase the video.

Not only are the personnel helpful before and during the cruise, but they are helpful after the cruise!

We highly recommend Radisson!
