Itinerary: Western Caribbean
Boarding the ship was a lil confusing as no one tells you to check your bags on
the right and then get on line to board on left. A little annoying .The boarding
process went fairly quickly although we asked for late seating and were given
early. Other than that, we boarded from curb to boat in under 1 hr. We boarded
at 5:15 p.m. for a 10 p.m. departure although others boarded at 11:30 a.m.--a
nice bonus if you want to take advantage of the day.
Royal Carib. is a better line than Carnival in a few ways. Cleanliness, quality
of food and overall quiet of boat (for most part). The adult jacuzzis(2) and
pool is a nice touch as kids are kept out. The bars make NICE drinks (strong)
and even stronger when you add a 1$ tip on top! VERY friendly staff. Ship is
huge so do not notice all the people even when sailing for the day. Special xmas
dinner was nice as was lobster/prime rib. Stateroom was small but who stays in
there anyway. Balconies looked nice and private. Ports were the usual--shop,
snorkel,etc. Overall a good experience
