I have just got off of a eight night cruise on Anthem and it was the worst holiday I have ever experienced.

Positives: the room was nice size clean and very comfortable.

Negatives: everything else!!

The food was very bland, poor quality and generally cold. I am sure the four main restaurants are served by one kitchen as all of the menus were the same food with a different sauce or sides. If you have booked I would recommend the only decent food is from one of the restaurants you have to pay for or the smaller cafes.

It was more like a booze cruise than a cruise, the dress code was not adhered to and when going for coffee in the morning people were wandering around with glasses of wine and cocktails. People were dressed in the formal dress dining restaurants in jeans, trainers and t shirts, women with leggings, flip flops and vests that I would not wear on the beach.

The activities consisted of drinking, eating, pub quizzes and expensive beauty treatments. They did hold an interesting on board fine art auction but it was very hard sell, as were the designer shops. Staff looked down their nose at you if you could not afford thousand of dollars for designer, clothes and jewelry or fine art.

The bionic bar was broken, the North Star was broken and just about everything else was fully booked. You could not get on the bumper cars, I Fly, Flowrider, trapeze wire etc etc etc.

There was little information provided about what was happening or going on other than a video played on cruise tv throughout the morning.

The ship is incredibly overcrowded and it was difficult to do anything without queuing for long periods of time.

Customer Services constantly had a queue which often stretched out into the main promenade and on the last day there was constantly at least 100 people in each queue.

I could go on but suffice to say I cannot find anything good to say about the whole experience. If you have booked then make the most of your time ashore.

The Guest Services Manager admitted to me that seventy five percent of the customers want a full refund. Good luck
