My husband and I just returned from a cruise on RC on the Enchantment of the Seas. It was four nights. We had cruised once before with our kids on the Carnival Glory for 7 nights.

The check-in process was easy and no problem. We were able to get on the ship at noon and they had food prepared for us in the Windjammer. At one o'clock we were allowed in our staterooms. When my husband unlocked the door, I was in shock. It was SOOOO small and if I was claustrophobic, I would have had to have medication. The room was too small and smelled ''musty'' On Carnival, we had an inside stateroom and it had plenty of room. .

The food was fair at best. I can only remember one meal that I actually said,''Mmm, that was great.'' The Windjammer was just aweful. The food always looked great but the taste was fair.

Also, I paid for a soda fountain package so I could have my Diet Cokes. You had to ask a waiter to get them for you and when you did, you felt like you annoyed them because you were not ordering an alcholic beverage and so they made no tip money. So, I stopped ordering them and just drank the free tea and juice.

Do excursions on your own. It is MUCH cheaper and you can do the exact same things you want to do.

My husband and I had an enjoyable time but the actual cruise ship leaft MUCH to be desired. We will not cruise with RC again. Do not let anyone tell you that Carnival is not as nice as RC!
