Overall, I would rate the food as barely edible. After almost every meal both my Wife and I had stomach aches and other stomach issues throughout the trip. During certain peek hours you can only get dry Pizza that had been sitting out or a Hot Dog or Burger that took 20 mins to prepare. Service in the main dinning room was decent but the food was Horrible. Carnival's food was fine dining compared to the slop that we were forced to eat during this trip. I can't imagine that convicts have it much worse!
Our Stateroom was Gorgeous. We went with a Suite with a large Balcony because it was our Honeymoon. Other then some obvious stains on the Carpet and a very small TV, the room was everything it should have been. One negative is that the room had 3 light bulbs out on the first day? Not much attention to detail by our extremely unwelcoming stateroom attendant. Two of them were still not fixed when we disembarked. I thought for $7,000 they could have been a little more on top of things.
Not much to do Onboard for the 21-40ish crowd, unless your a gambler, which thankfully i am. The activities during the day were catered to either a very young crowd or to the over 60 folks. If you are in the middle, i hope you enjoy laying out because that is all there is to do. So you better hope the weather is good and that you can find a Beach Chair, if ur not by the pool by 10am forget about getting a spot in the Sun.
Sea Turtle Cove Snorkeling was Great is St. Thomas
Horse Back Riding in the Rainforest in Puerto Rico was also a really good time
Our trip was POOR beyond description. I felt like Royal Caribbean stole my money and my memories from me. People only get one Honeymoon and due to many factors brought on by RC, ours will never be talked about again. The staff, food, lack of fun onboard activities, alchoholic beverages (that are made with next to no liquor in them and cost $10 per drink...plus extra tip of course), and worst of all the lack of attention to our Suite as far as Housekeeping is concerned all add up to making this cruise the worst trip of our lives. Our Stateroom Attendant, who's job it is to make our trip comfortable, was at fault for many things that angered me onboard and they need to demote him to the laundry room or just get rid of him before he alienates anymore customers. RC should be ashamed that even one person had this onboard experiance. I hope for eveyone else's sake that others had a better time. As far as onboard conversation went, we heard many of the same complaints from other passengers in our age bracket. It is heart breaking to work 7 days a week, for more then a year to pay for what you think will be the best time of your life, to come home with nothing but Complaints.
