My friend and I had a perfectly wonderful time on the Enchantment of the Seas. It was perfect! The ship is just beautiful, with a perfect combination of things to do and relaxing times. We had three full days "at sea" which we wanted, rather than more days in ports. We spent our "at sea" days sleeping late & having a huge breakfast followed by a walk around the Promenade deck, then lazing by the pool for most of the rest of the day. The port stops were fun, with tours in St. Martin, St. Thomas and Nassau with time for shopping. The ship had wonderful entertainment with Broadway/Las Vegas style shows every night and great entertainment afterward in the Schooner Bar with a wonderful piano bar/singer or in the Champagne Terrace with a jazz trio or Caribbean music trio. It was relaxing and fun & we are ready to go again.
The entertainment on Enchantment was exceptional. The Orpheum theater had plenty of room to accommodate everyone with great views. The talent in these shows was amazing, from the ensemble singers/dancers to the juggler... magician, comedians, etc.) They were all extremely entertaining. Beyond the main show, the Enchantment of the Seas had a wonderful group of entertainers in the lounges... Roxanne in the Schooner Bar, the Jazz trio in the Champagne Terrace, Alex, an amazingly talented pianist, the Souvenir Trio, so many great musically talented groups that played all over the ship for entertainment.
The dining room staff was wonderful, headed by Hedi, our great head waiter (who not only stopped by to relate funny and useful stories about our ports, but spent time de-boning fish dishes), Tomas and Cat our wonderful wait staff, plus the wonderful meals!
I have nothing but praise for Enchantment! If this is the way RCCL runs cruises, I can only hope to cruise many times again with them!
