Enchantment of the Seas Cruise Review
Western Caribbean
Rhonda R. Jennings
This was my first cruise. Prior to my cruise, I had
read reviews on this website and asked others about their cruise experience.
With regard to the ship itself, I would say that the Enchantment of the Seas is
a very nice ship. The food in the main dining room is wonderful and the service
is great. I had a room with a porthole and found the room to be comfortable.
Having said that, I was surprised to see so many teenagers on the ship. I was
even more surprised (and disgusted) to see the skimpy attire and the amount of
drinking going on.
My biggest disappointment was the ports of call. While I enjoyed Key West, I
really didn't have enough time there. By the time I went through security to get
off the ship, it really shaved time off of my trip. I was really disgusted with
Cozumel and Belize City. Cozumel looks like a war zone. Cruise lines should not
stop there until Cozumel has been rebuilt. I was also shocked at Belize City. It
really looks like the slums. However, if you read the excursion summaries that
Royal Caribbean posts on each of these cities, you would think that these are
fabulous places. I really think the excursion summaries are misleading.
While I think the ship itself was nice, I do think that Royal Caribbean should
be more forthright about the ports of call.
