We sailed on Enchantment of the Seas on May 27, 2006. My family (including a 6, 3 and 1 year old) had a wonderful time. My parents and brother and sister-in-law also were onboard with us.

Our two oldest children loved the Adventure Ocean Program, and couldn't wait to get to our stateroom to find out the activities for the next day on the daily compass.

The ports were fun, and the weather was perfect. We enjoyed Ocho Rios & Grand Cayman for our ports of call. We did the Dunn's River Falls & Dolphin Cove in Ocho Rios, and the Reef & Rays combo in Grand Cayman. Climbing the Dunn's River falls was an awesome experience - You will get wet. I love dolphins, so Dolphin Cove was a must for me. We did the dolphin encounter swim. It was wonderful.

The dining experience was incredible. We would take our 1 year old with us, and our two older children would join us for dessert. Our waiter did magic tricks for our children and went above and beyond to make them comfortable in the dining room.

The splash pool was so enjoyable for our children. What a great addition to this ship! You can really tell that Royal Caribbean caters to families with children.

However.....the in-room sitting for children under the age of 3 is a joke. You have to reserve the sitter immediately upon boarding, and making changes to the schedule is impossible. Also, having an in-room sitter is impossible for shore excursions. My mother had to stay on board while in Grand Cayman to stay with our 1 year old, and we had to do some serious complaining to receive a sitter while in Ocho Rios.

I highly recommend Royal Caribbean if you have children old enough to attend Adventure Ocean (3 and potty trained) or if you don't care about shore excursions while in ports of call.

We will definitely take another cruise, when our 'baby' turns 3.
