Enchantment of the Seas Cruise Review
Ed & Christine Shaheen
My wife and I had planed
this vacation to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary! I strongly suggest this
type of vacation for everyone to try it!
Our first cruise we went thru our local travel agent. This cruise we booked on
line. It was so much easier using the Set-Sail pass. We originally wanted to get
to the ship at 11am to board early to eat and explore. But we got there about
1pm and walked right on the ship. We still ate and explored the ship. We found
our room it was small but very nice and very clean. It was perfect for the two
of us. We got our bags just in time to change for dinner. We met our table
mates, they were a very nice couple. Our waiters Vivak and "Bala" were super and
very attentive the whole trip. The food was excellent. The only "problem" we had
was the coffee. but "Bala" fixed a special brew for my wife. I somehow was able
to drink it.
We ate dinner every night in the main dining room except the night we had at
Chops, we celebrated our 20th anniversary that night. Wow what a meal. Great
service also.We had breakfast 2 mornings in the main dining room. it also was
great food & service. Met new people also. We ate some of our meals in the
Windjammer Buffet, once again great food & service. We ate at the Solarium Cafe
a couple of times. They have burgers, hot dogs & pizza. Good food again!
We tried to follow all the actives on the daily "compass". But we couldn't. We
had to take our naps. We did allot of the trivia games. We never did play bingo?
We even took a line dance class (allot of fun). We gambled a little
also. We hung out at the pool a couple times, the Solarium pool "adults only".
one of our favorite things about this cruise was the adult pool!
The entertainment was wonderful. the comedian was very funny. The juggler was
awesome he got a standing "O". The magician was great. The other singers &
dancers were very good also.
The ports of call, Ocho Rios, Jamaica is beautiful. we did the Dunn's river
falls WOW. What great time we had. it was part adventours, part sight seeing!
then they took us to two differ ant shopping areas. we wasn't crazy about these
places. The other port of call was Georgetown Caymon island we took a taxi to 7
mile beach WOW what a beautiful place we just hung out on the beach. Then we
went shopping for t-shirts!
Overall it was a wonderful vacation. we would do this trip again! Enchantment of
the seas is a beautiful ship.
It has a great staff very personable and professional.
