This cruise was really fun! (I'm a 12 year old girl) The ship had so many things to do, our cruise director, Dave, was really funny. We went to all of the shows, all of which were great exept for one singers and dancers show, where there were extremely bad wigs and costumes, and it wasn't very exciting. Besides that, there were funny comedians, talented singers, great dancers, a fantastic and funny juggler, and a really funny impressionest!
Also every day when you got back from dinner there would be a cruise compass on your bed full of the next days activities, and your towels would be folded up into really cute animals! I was never bored on the ship!

The food was really good. The menu would change every day so you had a different variety to choose from. In the dining room there were 2 Formal Nights, 1 Smart Casual Night, and 6 Casual Nights. If you didn't want to eat in the dining room you could eat in the Windjammer Cafe which was a huge buffet place. I ate breakfast and lunch every day in the Windjammer, although you have the choice if you wanted to eat in the dining room.

I had an interior room which was pretty small but I really didn't care. There were 2 twin beds, a bathroom, a chair, lots of mirrors (everywhere you turned there was a mirror). Tons of shelves for storage, a closet, a desk with dresser drawers, a mini fridge, and a safe. I liked the rooms! They were better than what I was expecting because I had read a bunch of reviews about exremely tiny rooms, but they weren't that bad!

I loved the onboard activites! I went ice-skating, inline skating, rock climbing, movie theater, shows, game shows, cash prize bingo, bellyflop competition, mini golfing, ping pong, fuseball, shops, cooking demo, towel animal folding, :) there was that and so much more to do!! There were 3 pools, 5 hot tubs, and a soft serve ice cream machine! Yum!

My favorite excursion was snorkeling. In Saint Thomas we took a excursion to Trunk Bay in Saint John, and we went snorkeling there. There were so many pretty fish and corals it was such a great experience my whole family loved it! In Bermuda we went to a beach called Horseshoe Bay which was beautiful, turquiose, warm, water with fun, gentle waves. That was my favorite beach! In Puerto Rico it was extremely hot, I just wanted to get back on the ship.

The ship left out of Cape Liberty Cruise Port in New Jersey, so we just drove there, and we got on the ship pretty quickly! Explorer of the Seas is a great ship for families. They have kids places called Adventure Ocean. The AO staff hosts activites all the time for kids, it's like a day care or a camp so parents can go off and do whatever they want.
