I don't usually write reviews but after checking out some of the reviews on here and seeing some of the negative experiences I felt compelled to set the record straight. This was my wife, son, and my first cruising experience. Let me say it will be difficult for me to ever go on a one destination vacation ever again. This was the best vacation I have ever had. I have no idea where some of these people are coming from with their bad reviews but I totally disagree with them. We went with my wife's parents and her brothers family. Eleven total people. The crew, waiting staff, and stateroom attendants were the most professional and courteous people that I have ever seen. Our stateroom attendant's name was Carmen. She is from Nicaragua and has two children that stay with her mother while she works 7 months and off 2 months. She was awesome to talk to. Our stateroom was completely cleaned TWICE daily. Every night when we returned from dinner there was a different animal made from bath towels on our bed. We had dinner every evening at 6pm. The first night the Head Waiter, Richard from India, came to our table and totally entertained my 15 month old son. Then he walked him around the entire dining room while he stopped at tables to talk and help other cruisers. Our waiter was also top notch. His name was Madè. He is from Indonesia and has two kids. He was very professional and personable. One night I told him I was having trouble deciding between two dishes. I finally choose one and he brought both. Incredible!! The assistant waiter was Mauro. He is from the Phillipeans and is an avid SCUBA diver. From the first night I ordered a Diet Coke with dinner there was always one waiting for me when I got to dinner or very shortly after. Overall the dining experience ion the main dining room was first class. The wait staff and chefs in the Windjammer Cafe were great. Always checking on us and stopping to see my son. The food was outstanding. Not your usuall buffet. The legistics as far as boarding at the terminal in Cocoa Beach as well as the ports to getting off the ship at the end was perfect. The organization throughout the entire cruise was perfect. It is very difficult to travel with a 15 month old especially during the holidays. The folks on this cruise made it a delight. I felt like my son was a superstar. Any time we sat at a table or passed an employee they would always stop to talk to him as well as us. Obviously I would recommend this cruise to anyone.
